Zaxe’s Z series of 3D printers, meanwhile, is engineered mostly for industrial use. Equipped with the E3D customized titanium print head, the machine is compatible with “all materials” and is designed for use within the education sector. The xlite+ builds on the features of its xlite predecessor, offering a 22 x 23 x 20 cm printing surface and fully automatic print calibration. In September, Zaxe enlarged its 3D printing hardware offering further with the new launches, which featured a range of new features and upgrades in order to improve the accessibility and affordability of 3D printing. Until September, the company’s 3D printer portfolio consisted of its X1, X1+ and X2 3D printer range, its Z1 and Z1+ line of machines, and its xDesktop software and filaments. Unveiled back in September, the xlite+, Z2 and Z3 machines were developed as a result of the knowledge and experience gained by Zaxe over five years of building on the R&D and design of its machines.
All five 3D printers and the material station are currently on display at the company’s Formnext booth in Hall 11.0, stand C68. The company has also launched a new material station at the trade show, which works with its Z3 and Z3+ printers. The launch of the two new machines follows hot on the heels of the three new 3D printers Zaxe announced in September, the xlite+, Z2 and Z3. 3D printer manufacturer Zaxe has unveiled two new 3D printers at Formnext 2021, the Z3+ and X3.
